I have a panasonic mini home theather system putting out 420Watts. I want to run a subwoofer and satellitle speakers( speakers from a home theather system) from it on top of the speakers I already have.. I want a little more clearity and bass out of itCan I run a subwoofer and satellite speakers on my mini home stereo system?Just get a Speaker selector switch. With one of those, you can hook up quite a few more speakers, and you just have to run speaker wire to it then hook up all the speakers. =)
I have read that a Mini Cooper oil change costs $150. I do not believe this is true but I would just like to know what some people out there who own Mini Coopers are paying. It's not the same as a regular 4 cylinder as the mini uses synthetic oil and only needs to be changed every 15k miles - it can cost anywhere from $75 to $100 depending on where u get it changed. Does anyone know how much a Mini Cooper oil change costs?I checked into this and it is more expensive (~$100) than usual at most places. It seems odd since it is no different than changing a regular oil filter except for the fact that it is a paper filter and the filter casing is metal and part of the car and does not need to be disposed every time. How do I get over my fear of driving our mini van?How do I get over my fear of driving our mini van?You have to take "baby steps" First go out and sit in it for awhile and become familiar with how it feels, where all the instruments are, make the seat comfortable to you. Really spend some time in there until you are comfortable, listen to the radio.
Next time do the same thing only this time start it up.
The next time drive the van about a 1/2 block, rest and return home.
Every day without fail go out and drive it a little bit more. Finally push yourself to go a bit farther out of your comfort zone.
What this does is desensitize you to the van. You do have to work at it but, in time you will be able to do this.
It's what I had to do to be able to drive again, I learned this from my therapist.

You rehearse the drive in your mind when you are safe and quiet in a relaxed state.. Select your route, see yourself driving calmly and confidently. Don't go too far, just far enough to feel that you have succeeded and then enjoy your success!
Then you do it in reality and your outcome will be the same as you rehearsed it.
Face your fear head on and death of fear is certain!

Turntable is Numark USBTT, and connects to my old Aiwa midi hi-fi easily as that has stereo inputs (but the CD has stopped working and we need to get a smaller hi-fi!), however all the modern mini hi-fis in our price range (upto 拢250) only seem to have a single line-in input! (looking at the Sony CMT CPZ1 DAB model specifically) Can they be connected? I'm hoping there's a cable/connector? I have tried to find a detailed description of the turntable on the web but they're all a bit vague.
However, I imagine that your defunct Aiwa didn't have a USB port so it probably had a pair of 'phono' sockets, one red and one white? And if that is so the turntable must have a pair of phono plugs as well as the USB connector?
Asuming the above is correct, all you need is a short lead with a pair of phono sockets on one end and a 3.5mm stereo jack plug on the other. I know they sell them in the 'States so I'm sure they will here too.

I have a classic 1979 Mini and have had it restored. It's dark blue with white roof and white stripes and body-kit on it. It was looking nice till it was involved in a hit and run last year.

black/grey marblizer
followed by a candy blue overcoating
then street tuff clearcoat

It's classic and I love it. But if you fancy a change, how about British Racing Green - or perhaps a pale 'wedgewood' blue with the stripes?|||Maybe you could use that grey on the new shape minis, but with darker grey/black roof and stripes. Although you'd probably want to paint the wheels darker to balance out.
