I have a compact mini freezer that runs all the time during the day time when it's hotter, but doesn't run that much during the night when it's cool.
It is currently set to 4 on the Temp controller. 1 being the warmest 5 being the coolest.
Would turning the temp gauge colder to 5 or warmer towards 3 or 2 make it run less?Would turning up or down the temp on my compact mini freezer make it run less?set it on 3 and FILL IT. a filled freezer is more efficient.
those things are not very well insulated anyway.|||word of advice, adjust the freezer to your desire and put it on a timer and time it to the 6 eve to 6 ams and stay out of the mid day time this is the highest peek times for energy consumption set it to the first level and adjust as you see itWould turning up or down the temp on my compact mini freezer make it run less? The bigger the temperature difference between the ambient air and the temp in the fridge the harder the fridge has work and the more it cost to run.|||If it's trying to stay colder than it is now, it will need to run more.Would turning up or down the temp on my compact mini freezer make it run less?keep it full as posible. Freeze some emty milk jugs with water to take up space.|||Put a temp gauge inside! WHAT are U looking for 40 degrees?
