I have a sony handy cam that uses mini dv tapes and would like upload them to my mac via usb is this possible?How can i import video from a camcorder that records on mini dv to a mac with a usb cable?No. iMovie and FinalCut will not even recognize there is something connected to the USB port for importing. Firewire cables are cheap (unless you have one of the few, new, Macs that does not have a firewire port - that would be a bummer)...How can i import video from a camcorder that records on mini dv to a mac with a usb cable?i do have one without a firewire
