Anyway, brussel sprouts, cabbages, cauliflower, broccoli, are all "Brassicas"and are cool weather crops. They will usually "bolt" and go to seed in hot temperatures. Now would be a good time to plant seeds for late summer transplanting, if you raise your own. (It`s a lot harder to find plants for purchasing in the fall).
