I make awesome Toll House cookies from scratch, and usually add Chocolate chips and chopped walnuts, but instead of adding walnuts, i wanted to add mini marshmallows. Do you think they would taste good?Do you think mini marshmallows would be good in Nestle Toll House cookies?I make a rocky road cookie that my neighbor goes absolutely nuts for whenever i make them. i use small marshmallows (when i think mini, i am thinking the kind you put in hot cocoa) and i freeze them, and add them to the cookie dough as i am dropping the cookies. this way i have control over where the marshmallows are placed in the cookie, and i can keep them from being on the bottom of the cookie, which makes a melty mess. and instead of using drop method, i just spoon out the dough, put my marshmallows in top, and fold the dough all around the marshmallows until they are completely covered. this keeps the white color of the marshmallow visible after they are baked, and you don't have to struggle with getting the cookie off your cookie sheet because of the melted marshmallow.Do you think mini marshmallows would be good in Nestle Toll House cookies?yes.. it would have a "smores" sort of taste.. the marshmallows do melt somewhat, but still add something wonderfully gooey to the cookie.. I have done this (didnt find mini marshmallows, I snipped up large ones into smaller pieces).. my kids love this... so YES! Do you think mini marshmallows would be good in Nestle Toll House cookies?Yes! Mini-marshmallows would be a wonderful add to these cookies... mini-marshmallows are a great add to brownies too!
