Im planning on getting a mini bike with a 110cc engine and I'm trying to find out if its legal to drive on the street without insurance, a license, or plates in the state of Indiana. And it has a headlight, turn signals, a horn, and a break light. Are mini bikes legal to drive in the state or Indiana? No motorised vehicle can be used on the street without a plate, insurance, tax and mot.
I once got pulled over for using an electric scooter on the road and had to pay a god damn fine!!!Are mini bikes legal to drive in the state or Indiana?Sorry, you are required by the state to have proof of insurance, license plate and registration, a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license and wear an approved helmet if you are 17 years of age or younger. Are mini bikes legal to drive in the state or Indiana? In Indiana, anything over 49cc's AND capable of sustaining speeds of 25 mph or more is considered a motorcycle and therefore must be licensed. Also, type "Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles" into your web browser for their website, or call ABATE of Indiana at 1-800-232-2283. ABATE is a state motorcycle-rider's rights organization and also contracts with the Indiana BMV to do the local ride tests to get your Motorcycle Endorsement on your driver's license, so they should be able to help you out.
